Kody Daffer for Idaho House 13

About Kody!

Kody Daffer is a husband, father, and proud Idahoan dedicated to the hardworking families of District 13. As a small business owner, homeowner, and lifelong problem-solver, Kody understands firsthand the challenges Idaho families face—from rising costs and housing pressures to keeping our neighborhoods safe and our communities strong.

After marrying his wife, Kylie, in 2021, the couple settled in Nampa, where they bought their first home and began raising their young family. Like so many Idahoans, they experienced the realities of a competitive housing market, learning through experience how difficult it can be for young families to find their place in the community they love. Those experiences deepened Kody’s commitment to making Idaho a place where families can build stability, achieve success, and stay rooted for generations.

Professionally, Kody brings valuable expertise as a real estate developer and small business owner, with a Master’s degree in Real Estate Development. Through his work, he’s seen how thoughtful planning and policy decisions impact everything from housing affordability to economic opportunity. His four years of service on the Nampa Planning & Zoning Commission gave him firsthand insight into the relationship between growth, infrastructure, and community character—and the importance of transparency and accountability in public service.

Beyond his professional experience, Kody’s life is grounded in faith, family, and community. He’s held numerous leadership roles in his church and remains deeply committed to serving others with integrity and honesty. Now, as a candidate for the Idaho Legislature, Kody is ready to take those values to the Statehouse to champion policies that support families, encourage responsible growth, expand opportunity, and protect the principles that make Idaho strong and free.

Kody Daffer is focused on families, guided growth, and a stronger future for Idaho—because when Idaho families succeed, our whole state grows stronger.
